Shaina and Chris are a lovely couple planning an October wedding with a reception at the Hotel Macdonald. Beautiful! . We had a really fun time with them and Bear (their cute little pooch). We hung out at the University and spent a little time at the Sugar Bowl (yumm!!) just down the road from the high level diner and red bike. We love the excitement of weddings and we can’t wait to spend some more time with these two.

The Mielke family is moving to a new home so they hired us to take some photos of the girls and the house where they were born. We had the fabulous opportunity a to spend a late, lazy afternoon with the Mielke family playing in the park, planting flowers on the beach (Lake Summerside) and hanging out at their home before they made the big move. These kids are adorable and giggly as heck! We had a blast with these guys. Thanks to the Mielke family for choosing to spend some time with us.

Last week I went out with Shaina and Chris to do an engagement session for their wedding coming up this October. Here’s a Sneak peek, lots more to come.

This Saturday I was invited out to be a ”second shooter” at wedding photographed by the fabulous Erik Hornung. It was a really fun day hanging out with Erik while photographing Andy and Lindsey’s special day. I started out with the groom and the groomsmen in the morning and from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left at the end of the night everyone was having fun and partying hard!  Thanks to Erik for having me along.

A double whammy post for everyone today! First up we have Kirsten and Andrew (a couple who are very close to our hearts…we might even go so far as to call them `family` he he). Originally from Edmonton, Kirsten and Andrew have temporarily adopted Hoboken, New Jersey (and New York) as their home while Andrew attends Dentistry School and Kirsten (a social worker) racks up some good karma by volunteering with a group that teaches peace games to elementary students. Not only did we have a blast shooting these photos (although it was chilly!) we also had a great time bunking in the Schmidt residence for our 10 day vacation!

Andrew really had to go! (and I couldn't resist) Can you believe this guy is my future dentist (and my current brother-in-law)?
